ECO cafe- Wild Fig...

...has opened the doors in Scarborough, Western Australia.

I was fortunate to take part in this fun project with amazing team spirit! The furnitures are all collected from opshops, verge collections and salvage yards. A great deal of wild imagination and craftmanship has gone into the interior. While sipping your coffee - you just can't help but get inspired and wondering about all the things that we can do with old treasures by "upgrading" them.

Here are some tasters...for further info about the cafe,

Pallet office in Amsterdam

I've always had great admiration for the creativity of Dutch people, on top of innovation they also have the guts to do things differently. While living there, I broke out of many boundaries with design and decoration.
Be playful and have fun!!!

Advertising agency Brandbase found this great canal house in Amsterdam and with help of Most Architecture made this lovely space into a office by using mainly wooden pallets as building material.
Wooden pallet- my favourite item with endless possibilities!!

M Design

M Design and Project Scrap has just inspired my own journey reclaiming the value of abandoned furnitures in the street, verge collection or garage sales.

Thank you for the inspiration Marjolaine Poulin from Canada!
